Our range of events and meetings are designed to connect, support, and empower foster parents and kinship families through fun, informative, and engaging activities.
COMMUNITY EVENTS FOR RESOURCE FAMILIES
Details: All licensed Resource Families are invited to join the events and outings we host throughout the year. These gatherings are a chance for foster and kinship families to connect, build community, and help ensure no child feels alone. From park picnics to workshops and fun days out, each event is designed to create meaningful experiences and lasting friendships for everyone involved.

DADS & DONUTS
When: First Saturday of every month at 9am
Location: Expressions of Hope Office
Details: Join us for a relaxed morning of conversation and connection. This is a great opportunity for foster and kinship dads to come together, share experiences, and enjoy some delicious donuts. Whether you’re new to fostering or have years of experience, you’re invited to connect, share your journey, and spend time with others who understand.

MOMENTS WITH MOM
When: Second Saturday of every month at 9am
Location: Expressions of Hope Office
Details: Moms play such an important role in nurturing and supporting their foster children and you deserve support too. Join us for a morning with other foster/ kinship moms to connect, share stories, and encourage one another in a warm, welcoming space. It’s a chance to relax, and recharge.

Fatherhood Initiative
When: First & Third Thursday’s of the Month at 6pm
Location: Expressions of Hope Office
Details: This group offers opportunities, resources, and community connection designed to encourage positive involvement, strengthen parental confidence for fathers and father-like figures.

Moms Reunification Support Group
When: Second Tuesday of every month, 10AM
Location: Expressions of Hope Office
Details: Join a safe, supportive space for mothers who have experienced similar challenges, where you can focus on positive parenting, self-care, healing, building real connections, and reclaiming your confidence as a woman and a mother. Led by a mom who has been in your shoes and successfully reunified with her children, this group is all about shared growth, understanding, and encouragement.

Kinship Parent Night Out
When: 3rd or 4th Friday of the month, 5PM - 8PM
Location: TBD – stay tuned
Details: Kinship Parent Night Out gives parents a chance to take a well-deserved break while their kids enjoy a safe, fun-filled evening of activities. Parents can drop off their children for a night full of games, crafts, and engaging experiences building community.

Teen Night Out

Details: Teen Night Out gives teens a fun, safe space to hang out, make friends, and enjoy engaging activities. Teens can participate in games and supervised experiences designed just for them. It’s a night to relax, have fun, and connect with peers in a supportive environment.
