Heidi Landa

As a Parent Partner at Expressions of Hope, Heidi provides guidance, mentorship, and hands-on support to kinship families. Drawing from her own lived experience, she offers compassionate insight and validation to those navigating the challenges of resource and kinship care.

Heidi’s passion for this work stems from her own journey as both a kinship caregiver and a resource parent. She understands the emotional complexities and daily realities that families face and is committed to being a steady, understanding presence. Whether she’s offering practical resources or simply a listening ear, Heidi values the chance to form genuine relationships rooted in empathy and shared experience.

Heidi enjoys the collaborative spirit and kindness of the team at EOH. She finds fulfillment in being part of a group that works together seamlessly to serve families across the county with compassion and efficiency.

Heidi and her family were kinship caregivers for a year and have since continued as resource parents for over two and a half years. They have provided respite care and now have a current placement. She also completes annual RFA (Resource Family Approval) trainings, staying actively involved in continuing education to better support families.
