Itzel Martinez

As the Community Engagement Director at Expressions of Hope, Itzel plays a key role in building meaningful connections between the organization, community partners, and the families it serves. With a strong background in outreach, social media, and marketing, she helps amplify EOH’s mission while creating opportunities for collaboration, awareness, and support throughout the county.

Itzel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, and has a strong passion for working with teens. She is especially excited to help develop and host Teen Night Out events at Expressions of Hope, creating safe, engaging spaces where youth can connect, feel supported, and build a sense of community.

Itzel values the collaborative, compassionate culture at Expressions of Hope and finds fulfillment in working alongside a dedicated team united by a shared commitment to serving kinship, resource and at-risk families. She takes pride in strengthening community relationships and ensuring families feel connected not only to resources, but to a supportive network that truly cares.
